Frequently Asked Questions.
Answers on minimum order, turnaround, samples, design, box styles, materials, printing, finishes, proofs, shipping, payment, and sustainability.
Getting Started.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Minimum order depends on box type, material, print method, and finish. Many custom cartons start around 100 units and mailers from 50. Share your target quantity and we will confirm the most practical option.
What types of packaging do you offer?
Folding cartons, mailers, rigid and magnetic boxes, gift boxes, shipping and corrugated boxes, barrier pouches, displays, labels, and a wide range of cosmetic and skincare formats.
Do you offer design support?
Yes. Artwork, dieline, layout, and 3D design support are included with your quote, at no extra cost.
Do you offer samples?
Yes. Samples let you check material, finish, insert, and fit before bulk production. The sample cost can be credited toward your order when an approved sample moves into a confirmed order within 30 days.
Do you offer bulk discounts?
Yes. Larger runs lower your unit cost, with bulk savings of up to 35%. New customers can also claim 20% off a first order.
How do I get a quote?
Send your product size, quantity, finish, artwork status, and delivery country. You can expect accurate quote direction within about an hour.
Structural Design & Box Styles.
What box styles do you offer, and can I customize them?
Straight and reverse tuck, auto-bottom, roll-end mailers, sleeve-and-tray, lift-off lid, magnetic closure, drawer, and more. Every style can be customized to your product, size, and finish.
Which box style is best for e-commerce shipping?
Roll-end tuck-front mailers are the everyday e-commerce choice — fast to pack and sturdy in transit. Add dust flaps or inserts for fragile or higher-value items.
Do you offer display packaging for retail shelves?
Yes. Counter display units, floor displays, shelf-ready trays, and tester displays are available with print-ready branding.
Can you make custom die-cut or unique-shaped boxes?
Yes. Custom dielines, die-cut windows, and specialty shapes such as hexagon boxes can be built to your exact product.
Can you help me choose the right structure for my product?
Yes. Share the product size, weight, and how it ships or displays, and we will recommend the most practical structure and board.
Do you offer inserts, dividers, or compartments?
Yes. Paperboard fitments, foam die-cut inserts, moulded paper-pulp, and dividers are available to hold and separate products safely.
Can I customize how the box opens?
Yes. Tuck, auto-bottom, lift-off lid, magnetic closure, drawer-and-sleeve, and book-style openings are all options.
Do you provide dielines?
Yes. A print-ready dieline is prepared and shared as part of design support so artwork fits the structure exactly.
Why does material choice affect the dieline and structure?
Board thickness and flute change folds, glue tabs, and panel sizes, so the dieline is set after the material is chosen to keep the box accurate and strong.
Materials & Durability.
What materials can I choose from?
SBS, CCNB, kraft, recycled board, corrugated (E-flute, B-flute), rigid greyboard, specialty papers, and barrier films for pouches.
What is the difference between corrugated and cardstock?
Cardstock (folding carton) is light and clean-printing for retail units. Corrugated has a fluted core for strength and protection in shipping. We match the material to product weight and how it travels.
What are flute types, and which should I choose?
Flutes are the wave inside corrugated board. E-flute is thin with a smooth print face for retail mailers; B-flute is sturdier for heavier shipping. We recommend the right flute for your product.
Can I choose a white or kraft interior?
Yes. Interior and exterior can be white or kraft depending on the look and budget you want.
How do I know the right thickness or strength?
Board weight, flute, or rigid thickness is selected after product size, quantity, and shipping needs are known, so the box is strong without over-engineering.
Are your boxes strong enough for heavier products?
Yes. Heavier products use sturdier flutes, double-wall corrugated, or rigid board, with inserts to hold the product in place.
Proofs & Artwork.
Do you provide a proof before production?
Yes. A digital proof is shared for sign-off before production. Production starts from the approved proof, so what you approve is what is made.
When does the turnaround start?
The production turnaround starts once the proof is approved and payment is complete — not from the date of enquiry.
Can I change artwork after approving the proof?
Once a proof is approved and production has started, materials and print time are committed, so changes may no longer be possible. Please confirm every detail at the proof stage.
What files do you need for the best print quality?
Vector files (AI, EPS, or print-ready PDF), raster images at 300 DPI at final size, fonts outlined, CMYK color with Pantone references for spot colors, and the correct dieline with bleed.
What should I check on my proof?
Spelling and grammar, logos and barcodes, colors and finish, material, box dimensions, the dieline, and the quantity and delivery details.
Production Speed.
When does production start?
Production begins once the proof is approved and payment is complete, after a quality check on the setup.
What is the production time for cardstock and folding cartons?
Standard cartons run in around 7 business days from an approved proof. Rush timing can be reviewed during the quote.
What is the production time for rigid or magnetic boxes?
Rigid and magnetic builds are more involved and take longer than cartons — typically a couple of weeks from an approved proof, confirmed on your quote.
Can you handle high-volume orders?
Yes. High-volume runs are supported. Share your quantity, even large runs, and we will confirm timing and the best quantity break.
Delivery.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We ship worldwide, with availability and transit time confirmed on your quote based on the destination.
What delivery options do you offer?
Express and standard delivery options are available; the exact timeframe depends on destination, shipment size, and the service chosen.
Which carriers do you use?
Trusted carriers such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, and USPS, plus suitable regional services, chosen by destination and shipment weight.
Can you ship to a P.O. box?
It depends on the carrier and destination. Share your address and we will confirm the best delivery option.
Why isn't the exact shipping cost shown on the website?
Shipping depends on size, weight, destination, and service, so it is confirmed with your quote to keep the landed cost accurate.
Can I track my shipment?
Yes. A tracking reference is shared once the order ships so you can follow it to delivery.
Printing & Finishing.
What printing methods do you offer?
Full-color CMYK printing inside and out, with Pantone spot colors available for exact brand color.
Do you offer specialty finishes?
Yes. Matte, gloss, soft-touch, spot UV, foil, emboss, and deboss finishes are available to build shelf impact and unboxing feel.
Can you match specific brand colors (Pantone/PMS)?
Yes. Supply your Pantone codes and set artwork in CMYK; for critical color, request a physical sample before the full run.
Is there color variation between the digital proof and the final print?
Slight variation between screen and print, and within agreed production tolerances, is normal for custom packaging. A physical sample is the best check for critical color.
Quality, Reprints & Claims.
Can custom orders be returned?
Custom-printed packaging is made to your approved spec, so it is not returnable for a change of mind. Defects or errors on our side are resolved with a free reprint or a fair refund.
When do I qualify for a free reprint?
Confirmed manufacturing defects, print errors against the approved proof, the wrong material or size, or a short quantity on our side qualify for a free reprint of the affected units.
How long do I have to report an issue?
Please report any issue within 7 days of delivery with your order reference and photos of the outer carton, inner packaging, and product.
Storage & Handling.
How should I store my boxes after delivery?
Keep boxes flat, dry, and away from direct sun and damp. Stable, room-temperature storage protects print and board strength until you pack.
Payments & Billing.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major credit and debit cards and bank transfer, handled through a secure payment processor. Production starts after payment and final approvals.
Do you offer a first-order discount?
Yes. New customers can claim 20% off a first order, applied at the quote stage. We also review like-for-like quotes for a price match.
Do you offer terms on large or bulk orders?
Contact us with your order details and target volume and we will confirm the most practical payment terms for your order.
Materials & Sustainability.
Are your materials recyclable?
Most paper, board, and corrugated options are widely recyclable. Tell us your goals and we will recommend the most recyclable build for your product.
Do you offer eco-friendly packaging?
Yes. FSC-certified stock, recycled-content board, kraft, and compostable or lower-plastic options are available across many formats.
Are your inks eco-friendly?
Soy-based and water-based ink options are available for a lower-impact print on suitable materials.
